What every CRM integration project hits

Three reasons most CRM integrations rot in production.

CRM integration is the most attempted and most failed project in B2B ops. Here's where it breaks first.

01 — One-way is not enough

Marketing's leads stop at the gate

Most ETL tools push data INTO the CRM but never out. Marketing scoring, finance lifetime value, support sentiment — all stuck in their tools, never enriching the seller's view.

SYNC DIRECTION
02 — Conflict resolution

Two systems, two truths, no policy

When Salesforce and HubSpot disagree on contact ownership, lifecycle stage, or email — which wins? Most syncs default to last-write-wins and overwrite the wrong field nightly.

DATA QUALITY
03 — Custom-object hell

Standard objects sync; custom objects don't

Out-of-the-box integrations cover Lead/Account/Contact/Opportunity. The custom objects your business actually runs on — quotes, renewals, plays, accounts hierarchy — require a one-off integration each.

How do you handle field-level conflicts between CRMs?

Conflict resolution is configurable per field: last-write-wins, source-of-truth wins, longest-value-wins, or human-in-the-loop. Most teams default to source-of-truth (e.g., Salesforce wins on Account, HubSpot wins on Contact lifecycle) and override per field where needed.

Can we sync custom objects?

Yes. Salesforce custom objects, HubSpot custom objects, and Dynamics custom entities are first-class — they show up in the visual mapper alongside standard objects and sync the same way.

What happens to existing Salesforce flows and triggers?

Stacksync syncs at the data layer — your Salesforce flows, triggers, validation rules, and Apex still run. The two complement each other: Stacksync handles inter-system sync, Salesforce automation handles in-CRM logic.

How fast is the sync?

Sub-second when the source supports webhooks (Salesforce CDC, HubSpot webhooks). Otherwise 1–60s depending on poll frequency (configurable). No sync lags more than a minute by default.
