What breaks at peak season

Three reasons retailers oversell on Black Friday.

E-commerce is the discipline where every sync delay translates directly into a refund, a chargeback, or a one-star review. Here's where it breaks first.

01 - Inventory drift

Shopify, NetSuite, and the 3PL all see different numbers

Stock decrements happen in different systems at different times. By the time the OMS catches up, the storefront has already sold inventory that physically isn't there.

STOCKOUTS
02 - Channel fragmentation

Every marketplace has its own integration

Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, retail POS, each with its own API, its own webhook quirks, and its own failure modes. Routing one order through all of them takes a custom job per channel.

OPERATIONS
03 - Customer view sprawl

Klaviyo, Salesforce, and Shopify each have a 'customer'

Marketing emails go out based on Klaviyo's view of the customer. Service answers tickets based on Shopify's. Sales calls based on Salesforce's. Three different lifetime values, three different addresses, three different sources of truth.

Secure connection options

Securely connects to your systems with:

How fast does inventory propagate?

Sub-second for connectors that support webhooks (Shopify, BigCommerce, ShipBob), and 1–5 seconds for poll-based connectors. Stacksync defaults to whichever is fastest available.

Can we handle multi-warehouse / multi-location inventory?

Yes. Stacksync syncs inventory at the location level, each store, fulfillment center, or 3PL maintains its own pool, with cross-channel allocation rules configurable in the UI.

What happens during BFCM at peak load?

The platform scales horizontally and is tested at 100k+ orders per minute. Customers like Gladia have run BFCM through Stacksync with zero oversells.

Can we sync to retail POS in stores?

Yes, Lightspeed, Square, Shopify POS, and most enterprise POS systems are supported. Inventory and customer data sync between retail and online in real time.
