How does Stacksync’s two-way sync ensure data consistency?
Stacksync’s two-way sync technology is engineered to keep your data consistent and up-to-date across all connected systems in real time. When you enable two-way sync, any update, whether it’s a new record, a change, or a deletion made in one application is automatically and instantly propagated to all other linked systems. This bidirectional approach eliminates data silos, prevents duplication, and reduces errors that often occur with manual data transfers.
Stacksync’s intelligent conflict resolution ensures that the most recent and relevant data is always prioritized, and its robust mapping tools allow you to customize how fields and tables sync between platforms. Even complex enterprise environments with managed or read-only fields are supported, as Stacksync intelligently handles sync directionality and protects critical data. This reliability is crucial for businesses that demand accurate, real-time information across multiple departments, applications, and databases
What is a "synced record"?
A record becomes a synced record when it is present at the beginning of the month or when it syncs for the first time. For example, if you sync 100 records from Salesforce and Postgres using Stacksync, you will have 100 records in sync. We do not double-count records across different apps.Unlike other automation tools that charge based on updates or tasks, Stacksync allows unlimited updates, once a record is synced, you can modify it as many times as needed without additional costs.
What is an "active sync"?
A sync is a combination of two apps. For example, if you sync Salesforce and Postgres, this counts as one sync. A sync can contain as many tables/objects and fields/columns as you want. Once you turn the sync ON, data will continuously sync in real time between your systems. A sync counts as an "active sync" when it is turned ON.
What types of applications and systems can I connect with Stacksync?
With Stacksync, you can connect and synchronize data across more than 200 popular business applications and databases. Supported systems include leading CRMs like Salesforce, HubSpot, and SAP; ERPs such as NetSuite; cloud storage solutions; SQL and NoSQL databases like Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, and Google BigQuery; and a wide range of SaaS platforms.

The platform’s extensive connector library ensures you can integrate virtually any tool in your tech stack, whether it’s for sales, marketing, finance, logistics, or analytics. This flexibility allows you to build a truly unified data ecosystem that grows with your business
Does Stacksync support workflow automation in addition to data sync?

You can automate a wide range of business processes, such as triggering notifications, updating records, sending emails, or launching downstream actions based on specific data events like record creation, updates, or deletions. The platform’s intuitive, no-code workflow builder allows business users to design and deploy automations quickly, while developers can leverage pro-code options for advanced logic and custom integrations.

Privacy
How does Stacksync protect my data during sync and storage?
Stacksync is built with a security-first mindset to ensure your data is always protected. All data transmitted between your systems is encrypted both in transit and at rest using industry-leading protocols. The platform does not retain or permanently store your data after sync operations are complete, minimizing exposure and risk. Access to Stacksync is controlled through strict authentication measures and role-based permissions, ensuring only authorized users can configure or manage integrations.
Continuous monitoring, audit trails, and real-time alerts further enhance security, allowing you to detect and respond to any suspicious activity promptly. These safeguards make Stacksync a trusted solution for organizations with stringent data privacy requirements

Yes, Stacksync is fully compliant with key data privacy and security frameworks, including SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA. This compliance ensures that your data integrations meet the highest standards for confidentiality, integrity, and regulatory adherence. Stacksync’s platform architecture incorporates best practices for data protection, access controls, and auditability, making it suitable for use in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, government, and enterprise IT. Regular security assessments and third-party audits further validate Stacksync’s commitment to safeguarding your data and maintaining operational excellence
Can I control where my data is processed with Stacksync?
Yes, Stacksync provides flexible regional processing options to help you comply with data residency and sovereignty requirements. You can select specific data centers or cloud regions—such as the US, EU, Asia, or custom enterprise locations—for processing your data. This ensures your data remains within the jurisdictions mandated by your industry or regulatory environment, and also helps optimize sync performance and latency for distributed teams. For enterprise clients, Stacksync can tailor regional processing and storage policies to meet even the most demanding compliance needs
Does Stacksync provide audit logs or activity tracking?
Stacksync maintains comprehensive audit logs and activity tracking for all sync operations, configuration changes, and user actions. These logs provide full transparency into your data flows, making it easy to monitor sync status, investigate issues, and demonstrate compliance during audits. The platform’s log explorer offers advanced analytics and filtering tools, enabling you to quickly identify anomalies, troubleshoot sync errors, and ensure the integrity of your integrations. This level of visibility is essential for maintaining security, supporting regulatory compliance, and fostering trust within your organization
Pricing
How is Stacksync pricing structured for different business needs?
