General

What is a "synced record"?

A record becomes a synced record when it is present at the beginning of the month or when it syncs for the first time. For example, if you sync 100 records from Salesforce and Postgres using Stacksync, you will have 100 records in sync. We do not double-count records across different apps.

Unlike other automation tools that charge based on updates or tasks, Stacksync allows unlimited updates—once a record is synced, you can modify it as many times as needed without additional costs.

Does Stacksync sync data two-way across systems?

Yes, Stacksync enables real-time, two-way sync between your different systems. It is the only scalable two-way sync that supports data at the scale of billions of records. For all systems, you can choose between two-way or one-way sync modes, with data syncing in real time.

Unlike other apps that offer one-way syncs in two directions, Stacksync provides true bi-directional synchronization, handling data consolidation logic natively. When you update data in one system, Stacksync automatically syncs the update to the other system and vice versa.

What is an "active sync"?

A sync is a combination of two apps. For example, if you sync Salesforce and Postgres, this counts as one sync. A sync can contain as many tables/objects and fields/columns as you want. Once you turn the sync ON, data will continuously sync in real time between your systems. A sync counts as an "active sync" when it is turned ON.

Privacy

Does Stacksync store my data?

No, Stacksync does not store any of your data. Data is encrypted at all times (in transit and at rest) and is never persisted in plain text. When you sync data between two systems, you own both systems and use Stacksync as middleware.Stacksync is trusted by banks, hospitals, government services, and many other industries with tier-1 security practices. Read more about our security practices at stacksync.com/security.Stacksync is also SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA compliant.

Does Stacksync offer processing regions options, allowing users to choose regions and specific locations for data processing?

Yes, Stacksync provides regional data processing options, enabling users to select where their data is processed. Stacksync runs its services on servers across multiple regions, including the United States (US), the European Union (EU), and Asia. Users can specify their preferred data processing location when configuring their syncs/workflows, ensuring all services operate in the designated region.Stacksync's Enterprise plan also offers the option to choose a specific cloud region (e.g., us-east-1) to meet stringent data residency requirements.

Pricing

How does pricing work?

Your pricing plan has two components:A base fee, which includes a certain data transfer volume.A pay-as-you-go tier for data overages if you need to sync more data as you scale. If you need more data volume or your organization requires a flat-price commitment, contact our team to benefit from bulk volume discounts and tailored plans.

Can I change my plan later as I scale?

Yes, you can update your plan anytime. Stacksync scales as you grow.
